Pakistan T20 World Cup Squad Announced

Opening batsman Fakhar Zaman has been added as a traveling reserve for the ICC event in Brisbane. While Afridi will continue his rehabilitation under the guidance of PCB’s Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Najeebullah Soomro, he will not be part of the squad until his recovery is complete.

Zaman will be the traveling reserve for the tournament. The team management will assess him after undergoing rehabilitation in London. Afridi is also a part of the squad.

Pacer Afridi is expected to play in the first two warm-up matches, while Zaman is still recovering from injury. Both players are expected to be fit for the final two warm-up matches. The two will be available for selection in the last practice match between Pakistan and England in Brisbane.
